About Us

At SASFAE, we organise innovative first aid competitions that foster learning and excitement among high school students. Our mission is to equip the next generation with essential first aid training, while providing a platform for friendly competition. Whether in simulated emergencies or training sessions, we aim to build confidence and capability in future lifesavers. The first competition we ran was in 1991 and have been managing them ever since.

We’ll provide you with all the details you need to prepare for the competition, such as information on the competition rules, how the competition is structured etc.

Absolutely! We offer comprehensive first aid training for schools to ensure that all participants are well-prepared for the competition. Our training sessions are designed to be engaging and informative. We also offer first aid training to learners and staff (teachers, coaches, admin and ground staff) in accredited first aid courses through the South African School of First Aid Education (www.sasfae.org)
